PVR Limited: Result Update


Update: Q2 Numbers FY 2018-19

PVR Limited, a film and retail brand in India has posted its Q2 FY 2019-20 on 17 October, 2019 during the market hours.

Standalone Net Profit of the company rose by a whooping 175 percent Q-O-Q basis (INR 48.62 Cr vs INR 17.66 Cr) while the year-on-year profit rose by 38.24 percent (profit of INR 35.17 Cr for the period ended 30 September, 2018)

Consolidated Net Profit of the company for the quarter ended September 30, 2019 stood at INR 47.67 Cr versus INR 35.39 Cr for the same period last year, a growth of 34.7% (Y-O-Y) basis. Quarter-On-Quarter profit grew by 171.93%

The Company’s standalone revenues from operation stood at INR 915.97 Cr for the period ended September 2019 versus INR 704.63 Cr a period year ago, growth of 30 percent y-o-y basis. Q-O-Q revenue grew by 5.66 percent (INR 874.10 Cr). Revenues from the movie exhibition registered highest growth for the company.

Consolidate revenue of the company grew by 10.54% and 37.35% Y-O-Y and Q-O-Q respectively.

PVR Limited up by more than 1 percent to closed at INR 1840 on Thursday.

PVR Limited, the integrated film and retail brand in India has published its Q3 FY 2018-19 on Thursday.

Company’s standalone revenue from operations for the quarter ended 31 December 2018 stood at INR 694.94 Cr versus INR 547.85 Cr a period year ago, registering 26.85% growth YoY, the same was increased by 7.34% QoQ basis (INR 647.42 Cr for October to December 2018)

Company’s consolidated net revenue stood at 857.37 Cr vs INR 560.46 Cr YoY.

Company’s Net Profit After Tax (PAT) comes at INR 45.87 Cr for the period ended 31 December 2018, the same was INR 28.28 Cr last year, showing 62.20% growth YoY. Company’s PAT grow 48.69% QoQ (INR 30.85 Cr for the period ends on 30 September 2018)

PVR’s basic earnings per share (EPS) stood at 9.81 versus 6.09 YoY.

The stock ended flat to INR 1600 when the market closed! During the quarter ended 31 December 2018, the share prices of PVR Limited has made a low of INR 1099 and high of INR 1610

PVR LTD on Technical Charts

The stock prices of PVR Ltd is trading more than 13% higher when compared to its 200 EMA (1413) and trading around 4% higher when compared to its 50 EMA (1540)

PVR’s current market cap is more than INR 7500 Cr and trading at a PE ratio of 55
