GRUH Finance Q3 FY 2018-19: Key Highlights


GRUH Finance Limited, a subsidiary of HDFC Limited has reported it quarter 3 FY 2018-19 numbers today.

The Company’s standalone Revenue from Operations for the period ends on 31 December 2018 comes at INR 540.06 Cr versus INR 432.75 Cr for the same period last year, registering 24.80% growth (year-on-year)

Company’s Net Profit After Tax for October ’18 to December ’18 quatre stood at INR 96.95 Cr against INR 90.84 Cr for the same period last year, showing 6.73 percent growth YoY

The Company’s QoQ revenues grew by 12.39% (INR 480.54 Cr for July – September ’18)

Company reported 8 percent decline for the profit on quarter-on-quarter basis (INR 105.49 Cr for the quarter ends on 30 September 2018)

GRUH Finance Ltd, a subsidiary of HDFC Limited (promoted by HDFC and AKFED) – is a Housing Finance Company (HFC) recognised by the National Housing Bank (NHB) is the pioneer in housing finance in India.

History: GRUH Finance Limited (formerly known as Gujarat Rural Housing Finance Corporation) was incorporated in 1986. The company commenced its operations from Ahmedabad, Gujarat in January 1988.

Business: GRUH offers loans for Purchase, Construction, Repair, Renovation and Extension of dwelling units. The Company also offers loans for purchase of office premises to Professionals and Loan against existing Residential Properties to individuals.

Network: The Company’s retail network consists of 195 branches spreads across 11 states

Loan Disbursement: Company’s cumulative Loan Disbursement stands at INR 28,456 Cr as on 31 March, 2018

Average Loan: Average loan offered in 2017-18 of INR 9.40 LAC

Stock Price Movement

The stock ended 1.75% or INR 3.90 higher to INR 227.10 when the market closed on Friday! During the quarter ended 31 December 2018, the share prices of GRUH Finance Limited has made a low of INR 244 and high of INR 335

GRUH Finance on Technical Charts

The stock prices of GRUH Finance is trading around 22.5% lower when compared to its 200 EMA (293) and trading 17% lower when compared to its 50 EMA (273)
