Arvind Limited Q2FY18-19: Key Highlights


Arvind Limited, one of the largest Textiles, Apparel and Fashion player with revenues exceeding $1.7 billion has presented its Q2 FY 2018-19 numbers today during the market hours. Read details –

Performance Highlights (Arvind Limited)

  • Led by 15 percent growth in garments revenue and 21 percent growth in Advanced Materials Division’s revenue, the overall revenue growth was 12%
  • Strong growth in EBIDTA at 24 percent partially driven by improvements in margins of Advanced Materials Division
  • Outlook: Company expects to grow at 10% for the current financial year with improved profitability

Revenue:

Arvind Limited’s revenue from operations on a standalone basis comes at INR 1644.1 Cr for the period ends on 30th September 2018 as compared to INR 1508.77 Cr for the same period last year, showing 8.97% growth YoY.

The Company’s revenue were INR 1671.9 Cr for the period ended 30th June 2018, registering 1.66% de-growth QoQ.

Company’s consolidated revenue stood at INR 1815.98 Cr at the end of September 2018 quarter, showing 12.86% YoY growth (INR 1609.10 Cr) and marginal 0.44% negative growth when compared to the previous quarter.

Profit:

Arvind Limited reported a profit after tax (PAT) INR 72.57 Cr for the July to September 2018 quarter, which was up by 17.46% YoY and the same was up by 9.13% when compared to QoQ basis.

The company has production facilities at Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Gandhinagar in Gujarat, Pune in Maharashtra and Bangalore in Karnataka.

The company is also engaged in the business of Fabric & Apparel, Brands & Retail, Real Estate, Engineering, Internet, Environmental Solutions, Advanced Materials, and Telecom.

The stock ended 0.80% higher to INR 345.70 when the market closed! During the quarter ended 30 September 2018, the share prices of Arvind Limited tumbled more than 13%

The stock price of Arvind Limited is trading 6% lower when compared to its 89 EMA and more than 10% lower when compared to its 200 EMA.
