Housing Finance Sector: Q3 ( Oct – Dec ’16 ) Numbers and Analysis

Housing Finance Sector:

Q3 was fantastic as far as Housing Finance sector is concern.

Almost all the companies have shown strong performance in the quarter.

For the numbers, the profits of the companies were UP in the range of 12% to 42%, while revenues were up in the range between 4% to 32%.

Market leader HDFC registered steady growth both in Profit and Income (were up roughly 12% each).

“Indiabulls Housing Finance, DHFL and Can Fin Homes” are the star performer from the sector, where in the companies have shown 23% to 41% jump in profit and 24% to 32% jump in income as compared to the same period last year.
