Berger Paints (I) Limited: Q3 FY 2018-19 Highlights


Berger Paints India Limited, the second largest paint company in the country has presented its Q3 FY 2018-19 numbers today after market hours.

The Company’s revenues from operations, standalone basis, for the quarter ended 31st December 2018 was INR 1460.1 Cr as against INR 1206.3 Cr in the same corresponding quarter of the last year, representing an increase of 21% year-on-year basis. Revenues for last quarter (July-Sept ’18) was INR 1330.45 Cr, registering 9.75% growth QoQ basis.

EBIDTA (excluding other income) for Oct to Dec ’18 quarter was INR 209.8 Cr versus INR 198 Cr for the same period last year, showing a 6% increase YoY.

The Company’s Net Profit for the period ended 31st December 2018 was INR 119.5 Cr as against INR 111.2 Cr in the same corresponding quarter of the last year, representing an increase of 7.4% year-on-year basis. Company’s QoQ profit grew by 16.5% (INR 102.28 Cr)

  • Nippon Bee Chemical Co Ltd for coating on plastic auto parts and mobile phones

Stock Price Movement

The stock ended INR 6.65 or 2.09% higher to INR 325.40 when the market closed on Friday! During Q3 FY 2018-19, the share prices of Berger Paints India Limited has made a low of INR 260 and high of INR 345

The stock prices of Berger Paints (I) Ltd is trading 8% higher when compared to its 200 EMA (300) and trading marginally above when compared to its 50 EMA (319)

The stock has given almost flat returns over the last 6 months and 25% positive returns over the last 12 months.
